What about you? Do you have plans of having a baby’s room in your house? If yes, here are some ideas on how you can convert a room into a baby’s room, the inexpensive and practical way possible:
1. Foremost in mind, consider your working budget. The materials and renovation of the room depends solely en the amount you are willing and able to spend for it.
2. Once the budget is settled, consult your daughter on the design you have in mind. It is wise to consider also her design options and ideas. Compromise is the key word to get around with a practical and workable design.
3. Choose light, bubbly and lively colors for the color scheme of the walls. If wallpaper is your choice, there are a variety of colorful and playful designs which can suit both sexes. If you’re not sure on how to install it, it is best that you hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the job.
4. Provide ample ventilation and lighting inside the room. Avoid placing too much accessories except for the essentials like a side worktable, a side table where you can place necessities like instant milk, spare milk bottles, medicines, pampers, etc.
5. Place a special corner inside the room where the new mom and her baby can bond together. Put a rocking chair where she can feed her baby or simply put the baby to sleep.
