If you have a new born baby, then you will most definitely hear your baby cry quite a lot and you will often not have a clue as to why this actually is. The good news is that although your baby isn’t able to tell you, there is usually a few things that it could be and once you have checked them off the list, you will find that it is actually easy to solve the problem. The first thing that you should think about is whether or not the baby is hungry. Think about when they were last fed and try feeding again. The next thing that you should think about if that doesn’t work is whether or not the baby is tired. Think about when they were last asleep and whether they might want more. Try taking them to a dark room and holding them tightly to see if they sleep and stop crying. Another thing that you should check is whether you baby might have wind. If the crying is high pitched or if he/she is kicking and screaming, this might be the case. One of the obvious things to check is whether your babies nappy needs changing too. Although this might be easy to dismiss straight away, simply by the smell. Lastly, you should check whether your baby is too hot. Feel your baby’s head; they might even be too cold also.
