A new study, published Thursday in Science, makes a strong case that the second theory is the right one. A team of anthropologists from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, developed a battery of learning tests they call the Primate Cognition Test Battery, and gave it to 106 chimps, 105 children and 32 orangutans, to compare the groups directly. Says Esther Hermann, a co-author of the paper: “It’s the first time anything like this has been done.”

The three groups performed about equally well on “physical learning” — locating hidden objects, figuring out the source of a noise, understanding the concepts of more and less, using a stick to get something that’s out of reach. And indeed, the kids were of an age — 2 1/2 years old — where it’s widely known that they do perform about as well as chimps in such tests. So for example, the scientists would hide a treat of some kind — a toy, or some food — behind a box, while the test subjects looked on. The kids, chimps and orangs would have to be sophisticated enough to know that the object disappearing from view didn’t mean it stopped existing, and had to be able to figure out where it had gone. All three groups did equally well at this sort of thing.

The brain of your baby started to increase before birth. When it was born its brain was approximately a quarter of its size of adult. The brain of your baby will develop with his the faster until it is approximately three years. How the brain of a baby develops depends on many things. Some things are inherited the parents. Others depend on health, the nutrition, the experiments and the reports/ratios of your baby.

The manner that of your baby the brain develops depends, partly, of what you say and make with it. The brain of your baby has much, much neurons or cells of brain. The types of activities that your baby has with objects and people stimulate these neurons. This makes it possible the neurons to draw up the important reports/ratios in the brain. The day labourers activities determine how these connections are formed.

The activities like being held and playing with toys or to listen to the maintenance with people are important. This is why your child needs stimulation and play. It must know that you like it. It must be able to explore and discover things. It needs you for him to speak and to act one on the other with it. These things will help all the part of development of brain which depends on the experiment.
How should you provide these experiments for your baby? There is a no answer. We know that the babies develop better: When they hear the language When they have experiences with toys or objects When they know that people like them and pay the attention to them What is important is to find the activities which you and your child have pleasure to make together. When you do this, you are not simply having the recreation with your baby. You help his brain you develop.
