Never Say ‘Baby’:
Material required – string that can be used like a bracelet or necklace and baby’s safety pins or diaper pins (any object that can be placed on a string can be used).
How to play? – The rules of this game should be explained to the guests when they enter the venue. Place one string with the pin on the neck or hand of each participant as a necklace or bracelet respectively. The rule to be followed is that, whenever anyone says the word ‘baby’, even during general conversations, any other woman can call it out and take the pin from the one who said it. At the end of the shower, one with the most pins wins the game.
Name the most number of baby items you can:
Materials required – a pen and paper for each participant
How to play – in this game, the participants are asked to pen down as many baby items as they can in a fixed given time, say 3 or 5 minutes. The one with the most number of products named wins the game. Check the items properly and the spelling too!
Who can make the new mommy’s baby?
Materials required – paper, scissors glue and baby magazines
How to play – divide the participants into groups of three. Give each group three baby magazines. Ask them to cut out pictures of the different qualities of babies and put it together to make a picture of what they think the new baby will look like.
