Shopping for Holiday Clothes
When shopping for the infant in your life, whether it be a nephew/niece, or a grandchild it is important to take into consideration the baby’s clothing size/age at holidays. If you are buying gifts in advance of baby being born be sure that the infant will fit into the outfit when that season comes nearer. If little baby Jack is due in June and you want to buy Halloween, Christmas, and Easter clothes when they are on sale, be sure to think about the age he will be when that particular Holiday arises. For instance, if Jack is due in June, be sure to purchase sizes 3-6 months for the Halloween clothes and 6-9 months for the Christmas clothes and 10-12 months for the Easter outfits.
However, it is important to consider that when companies put age sizes on the baby clothes, these are guidelines. Little baby Jack could be a larger or smaller baby than average and thus wear different sizes than other babies his age. It is easy to buy 0-3 months for the infant because that is the first size you know that baby will wear, but don’t forget that themed clothing will be worn on baby during those specific Holidays. Little Jack won’t wear a Halloween outfit in July.
